Hard to find the words for this one…. Friday, I resigned from Carroll College after one season leading the Fighting Saints. I never expected my tenure at Carroll to be short lived, but sometimes, when life changing opportunities knock, you have to answer - regardless of timing. Lexi, London and I deeply loved our time in Helena. The people here are some of the most loving and genuine we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They embraced us from day one, treating us with grace and kindness. I will truly truly miss the wonderful people that make up this College community: Jerry Loendorf, Dr. Earl Heller, Bill and Gail Darcy, Gary Turcott, John Runda and Tricia McMahon, John Lagerquist, Jim and Pam Gosnik, Guy and Heather Almquist, Scott Davis, Bob Robinson, Ray and Susie Kuntz, Jolene and Kyle Lloyd, all the wonderful coaches in our department and soooooo many more. Our unbelievable administration: Dr. John Cech and his wife Victoria. Charlie Gross and his wife, Barb. I will be forever indebted to you for giving me the opportunity to lead this historic college. Carroll remains strong today and moving into the future because of your exceptional leadership. And of the course, the 17 incredible young men and 3 assistant coaches in our locker room who gave this program everything they had on a daily basis. They represented this school and community in a manner in which we can all be proud of. I don’t expect everyone to agree with my decision to leave so soon, and that’s okay. Career changes are often difficult to make, and trust me when I tell you, this was as difficult as they come. I am thrilled for the opportunity in front of us, but will be leaving a big piece of our 💜 in the beautiful mountains of Helena. Regardless where the long and winding road takes us, I promise you we will be following the successes of Carroll College. It is with tears in my eyes and love in my heart, this SAINT goes MARCHING ON!🫡
