The #Chargers are blessed with the safest spot in the draft. If MIN wants to give you their 11th, 23rd AND a 2025 1st, then we can have a conversation. Otherwise, the gameplan on draft day is remarkably simple. 1. Take MHJ. If MHJ is gone: 2. Take Malik Nabers.

@RyanDePaul Harbaugh is running a masterclass on how to get mhj without moving up
@RyanDePaul And Herbert will be hurt again in week4. He’s drafting OL bud
@RyanDePaul Trade back would be worth just 11 + 23. I don't think anyone is trading up for QB4 in this draft and offering 3 1sts. I could be wrong, but I don't think the value is there.
@RyanDePaul I think it’s pretty possible the draft goes: 1. Williams (Bears) 2. Maye (Commanders) 3. MHJ (Pats) 4. Nabers (Cardinals) And the chargers miss out on a top WR
@RyanDePaul Harbaugh won’t take a WR that high. He’s trading down or taking OL
@RyanDePaul That's pretty much how I see it. If MHJ falls into our lapse you take him, if AZ takes MHJ you pull the trigger on Nabers or look to trade down
@RyanDePaul They'll trade up and draft McCarthy. Never underestimate personal loyalty. Harbaugh would easily trade Herbert.
@RyanDePaul @DrotalkSD With this mock, the only candidates to trade down with for a QB value would be Raiders and Broncos. I don’t think we trade with them…
@RyanDePaul If the team sticks at 5, take Nabers whether MHJ is there or not. And run to the podium with that pick.
