People need to realize that Peach being more expressive isn’t the problem here, the problem is that they literally changed her entire design to resemble her movie one for literally no reason. She looks off model and it’s incredibly jarring

@RoyalDeijiHimeX "Her entire design" was boring af using the same expression for everything. They're doing the right thing.
@RoyalDeijiHimeX You know, the Kirby franchise is notorious for changing his expression, though I’m sure folks saying eyebrows are different than what’s going on with Peach’s face, which I also get.
@RoyalDeijiHimeX Exactly the point! They keep saying Movie Peach is more expressive for having a serious look, & call the OG Peach expressionless just for having a happy smile. But the OG Peach literally had a game all about emotions! It's like they don't wanna remember Super Princess Peach...
@RoyalDeijiHimeX "changed her entire design" She looks exactly the same! Her face is just tilted downwards with a determined face. That's literally it. And also, movie Peach is just Peach. This is the 5th time I've seen people say it's a "new design" What are people on?!
@RoyalDeijiHimeX I don’t mind it overall but it does irk me that they only changed two of the renders’ faces and kept the other two the same. Just makes it look like even more a PhotoShop edit.
@RoyalDeijiHimeX yeah, the main peach on the first box art was fine imo :( i do like that they made the kung fu one to look more fierce but like??? why change the main peach to look like more like movie peach? there’s no reason to as game peach’s face is still pretty recognizable…
@RoyalDeijiHimeX Mario fans when they change the expression of a character on a box art:
@RoyalDeijiHimeX What does this have to do with the movie? There's nothing wrong with finally giving their characters some personality and more dynamic impressions.
