@BrixtonDiscGolf The first organized disc golf event was the Wham-O All-Comers meet in 1968 or 1969 (accounts differ), where George Sappenfield convinced Ed Headrick to include disc golf as just a part of the precursor to overall Frisbee events. 2/2
@BrixtonDiscGolf The earliest known account of any kind of "disc golf" game is indeed from Bladworth, Saskatchewan, Canada. It was a group of elementary schoolers throwing tin lids into circles drawn in the dirt, so "first disc golf match" is a stretch. 1/2
