@MattRodda can I ask you, as my MP, to support David Davis by attending tomorrow's debate on the Thirlwell Inquiry. Please don't leave it to someone else. When Lucy Letby is eventually freed will you be able to hold your head up and say "I did my bit"?
MPs are about to head off on holiday. Lucy Letby remains in prison. But, perhaps, they are now finally realising they have a duty to break their silence, to speak out and to act. I have asked my constituency MP to attend this 16 July debate on Thirlwall. Please ask your MP too.

It is obvious from her manner and her words and actions that she knew she'd done nothing wrong and was 100% confident that her innocence wd be obvious to the court and to the jury. Her trusting nature was abused by the police prosecution and judge to get a high profile conviction
Is it possible that Letby remained naive throughout that period including her appearance in the witness box. That she never dreamed that she was the accused? That had she had legal representation would have protected her rights from the beginning. Helping the police relieved them
When we went public, we braced for hostility. We got some. We expected that. What we didn't expect was the of messages from NHS front line staff. Nurses. Doctors. Paramedics. @CountBinface Whatever you think of Mr Farage, he is one of only five MPs to have publicly expressed concern over Lucy Letby--imprisoned for life even though experts have shown she is innocent. Please consider publicly stating that you too are concerned about Ms Letby.

If these claims are true, it suggests a serious breach of standard legal and investigative protocol by Cheshire Police and the CPS. Under the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA), investigators have a strict statutory duty to pursue all reasonable lines of inquiry—whether they point toward guilt or innocence—and to disclose any material that might undermine the prosecution's narrative. Dropping a top-tier statistician after she warned that their analysis was biased, and failing to disclose those concerns to the defense, is a massive procedural red flag. Furthermore, the finger-pointing between the police and the CPS exposes a major institutional failure. Under the Code for Crown Prosecutors, the CPS is not supposed to direct police investigative strategies or dictate which experts are retained. If the police falsely blamed the CPS to conveniently dismiss an expert whose findings didn't fit their narrative, they actively avoided evidence that could have completely shifted the case. Avoiding a formal report just to skirt disclosure laws is a textbook definition of confirmation bias.

The police should not be influencing an ongoing trial. Especially not paying for publicity and media outreach. This raises some serious questions about the police and their relationship with the press and media.
