What to do with Brock Boeser? He’s having a great year (37 goals 🥳), but at times looks ineffective and disengaged, to be frank. Signed through next year, do the #Canucks trade him at the deadline and replace him with Lekkerimäki? Or re-sign him? 🤔
@kuzmenkosbanana Top 3 #Canucks scoring wingers Boeser 37g Hoglander 22g Garland 15g So, he's got the same amount of goals as #2 and #3 combined. And, has gone from a -20 last year to a +24 so far this season. They can not afford to lose Brock Boeser.
@RodneyGibson604 @kuzmenkosbanana I really do like Brock but with his improved stats comes increased salary. I think his foot speed is going to get worse and if you can sell him high I would jump at it. Playing major minutes with Miller and an improved defence have helped his Plus/minus.
@RodneyGibson604 @kuzmenkosbanana There's a thing about the eye test that messes with people. Toffoli is a choppy skater but very effective. Boeser is amazing on the wall, can score, and wicked smart. He's not appreciated in this market because he doesn't skate like Mikheyev
@RodneyGibson604 @kuzmenkosbanana They going to move him in the summer or next trade deadline
@RodneyGibson604 @kuzmenkosbanana That depends on if he keeps being this Brock, or goes back to the one from the last few years.
@RodneyGibson604 @kuzmenkosbanana they can't afford to lose him for nothing. If he scores another 40 or close there too, next year... he will proce himself out of vancouver. Sell High on a great scorer, I think lekkeramaki/Hogkander will hopefully fill in those goals. We will see how he performs in playoffs
