One of my pet peeves is people saying POC when they really just mean Black people. Say Black. It’s okay.
@RobinXShabazz POC is the safe term to dismiss the black conscience and agenda. A lot of black people that use this term have an internal fear of upsetting white people and are scared of losing their platform for appearing too “radical”. Those are the ones we cannot trust.
@RobinXShabazz @kevskewl Reparations over everything
@RobinXShabazz ONLY. REPARATIONS. MATTER. #ONLYReparationsMatter
@RobinXShabazz They run from "Black" like witches run from daylight!!!
@RobinXShabazz We are proud Black people!
@RobinXShabazz @princss6 Next time ask who r u referring, be specific.
@RobinXShabazz I’m quick to correct when minority, POC, BIPOC, black and brown or any term that minimizes the exceptional nature of the black experience is used
@RobinXShabazz The problem is more like they say poc hoping YOU think they mean black, when they really just mean some light might as well be white person, gets to benefit from xyz.
@RobinXShabazz They substitute the word Black for the term POC as if Black is a dirty word so you have to add something else. It's important we stop using those inclusive terms
