Vivek, couldn't agree more, we all need to get involved. We must create opportunity along the entire pathway to stop the inevitable ED admission. I see the ambulance service being paramout here .. if recognise ED not appropriate .. don't transport !

@Pega_sus7 @rcpsych I was discussing just this the other day with colleagues .. agree entirely terminology is not currently helpful .. its ambiguous, non threshold specific and open to varying interpretations.. all unhelpful in a clinical setting.. suggested "severely agitated delerium" ?
