No one: Not a single person: Me: everyone should have med pay, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage on their insurance policy
@RileeDHarrison IME Med Pay is an expensive waste if one already has good health insurance. It can bridge deductible and copay gaps, but it's one of the most expensive types of coverage.
With the rising costs of medical bills, vehicles, etc. How can you afford to not? While, generally, I'm not too fond of insurance companies because they pull lots of shady stuff all to maintain a profit for their shareholders, not having adequate coverage is a recipe for disaster.
@RileeDHarrison Agree 100%. Those who have done auto PI know. I’m with ya brother. (Did defense and Plaintiff’s for the first 10 years of my career). Makes you a believer in auto, homeowners, umbrella, disability, and life insurance.
It sounds like the most ridiculous idea to pay for it until you aren’t covered and neither is the party that just caused harm to you or your person. I’ve had a phone call with someone who elected against this and paid for it dearly once. It’s like hearing a heart hit the floor over the phone.
@RileeDHarrison These 25 policies ain’t cutting it
@RileeDHarrison In Virginia you have to have all those things.
