The Teacher Training Roundtable reaffirmed a shared understanding: improving literacy outcomes requires coordinated action, stronger accountability, and meaningful investment in teacher development and support. Here are some reflections from our participants about the day.

At the Human Rights Festival at Constitution Hill, we met people strengthening literacy in their communities, from supporting crèches to guiding parents early. These efforts show literacy starts beyond classrooms. The Right to Read Campaign grows through these connections.
We were proud to be part of the Human Rights Festival, hosted by Constitutional Hill. Engagement from festival goers who attended our activation & visited our table was enthusiastic and inspiring.
