Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.
So far it seems agents prefers simpler setups. RAG was the hot thing for a minute, until we realized grep/sed was good enough. Local CLIs seem to perform much better than MCPs. I don't think serverless is going to work well either. I doubt the majority of agentic loads will be running on Cloudflare, Lambda, or Vercel.
