@JimFergusonUK US Navy Fleet Composite Squardon 5 and 6 were operating airborne and surface target drones in the early 1970's. I was on GITMO operating surface target drones (SEPTARS) when the Marine who served as the inspiration for "A Few Good Men" was killed. The evolution is long overdue.

New Havens et al 2026 paper was invented out of thin air to explain away "pre-adaptation" of SARS CoV2 to humans by saying that adaptation is not needed at all. It doesn't explain how a FCS would come about in bat reservoir since this feature is selected against in bat guts.
