Hard to deny anything that’s said here. One can’t deny Trump’s intentions, but perhaps argue he’d be bad at it, and countries get over fascism relatively quickly while social democracy tends to last forever and lead to long term decline.

@RichardHanania The happiest, healthiest nations in the world are social democracies.
@RichardHanania How long does it take to "get over" 400 years of slavery?
@RichardHanania Fascism ended up destroying several countries, including the ones it came from.
@RichardHanania Countries usually "get over fascism relatively quickly" after millions of people are murdered, dead in wars, or have been locked in torture camps. Oh, and cities are bombed, economies in waste, and lives shredded. But, yeah, it can happen pretty fast.
@RichardHanania So which of these two pictures shows the long term decline from 75 years of social democracy, and which shows a quick recovery from 12 years of fascism?
@RichardHanania While it only took Germany 13 years to get over fascism, it was possibly not all that great in the meanwhile anyway?
@RichardHanania Here’s the part where you provide examples of countries that got over fascism relatively quickly.
@RichardHanania Countries don’t get over fascism “relatively quickly” unless their governments are overthrown from outside and their states are rearranged by the victors. If you knew anything about Latin America you would know this.
@RichardHanania Who’ll be providing us with Marshall Plan funds/rebuilding us post-fascism?
@RichardHanania Please, save us from the social democratic nightmare Western Europe and the Nordics are experiencing
