There are no words to express how proud I am of the RHA team this week. They have been full of commitment, resourcefulness, resilience and love for our children. Now they are going to be throwing all of this into ClassDojo and our online learning. Parents - please sign up!

Thank you to all our amazing families for your perseverance, patience and understanding. We have given all the children resources, books and access to class Dojo. It is vital that the children sign up to class Dojo to communicate with their teachers and access work set for them.

Our home learning packs will be ready by the end of the week for any children who are self-isolating. In the meantime, here is a list of websites that have free activities to do at home.

A message to parents and carers. If you are self isolating, or your child is unwell, please come and collect a pack to ensure children keep up with their learning. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Year 4 had the pleasure of learning about the 5 pillars of Islam with Miss Hamid today. During RE week we explored Islam in great detail.

‘Figaro’ is alive and well at Richmond Hill Academy. Opera North performing in the hall for children and parents! Amazing!

On Friday, Year 4 were greeted by Mr Nelson in slightly different attire than usual! This was to help us understand how the character Bill would have felt in our new guided reading text 'Bill's New Frock.' We talked about how Bill felt and discussed different gender stereotypes.

A spot of bird watching during our gardening club today. We planted more trees too, silver birch this week! 🌳
