I keep waiting on the NCAA to do a sit down with @60Minutes on how corrupt they knew they always were but now that they’ve had their brains beat out in the courts they are having to swallow this whole NIL thing being shoved down their throats. I want to see how they are going to try to appear as sympathetic figures throughout all of it. “Yes, of course we have never paid our labor and we penalize kids a year for transferring but coaches can leave whenever they want and having to pay our labor wouldn’t make them “amateurs” now would it?” They are the root of all evil. In sports.

@RexChapman @60Minutes Whew!!... they, Knew. They. All. Knew.
@RexChapman @60Minutes The @NCAA is utter garbage and only about money and power
@RexChapman @60Minutes It will be interesting what comes from the Dartmouth Men’s bball situation. We could be headed down the path of scholarshiped students being considered employees and get recognized through a union, which is the way it should be. 🤞
@RexChapman @60Minutes The NCAA and college presidents ignored it and now have lost all control of it. If the NCAA was a serious organization it would have expanded it's compliance office x100 years ago. Then take the needed steps to create bylaws on how to compensate athletes.
@RexChapman @60Minutes The NCAA is right up there with the IOC and FIFA as the most corrupt sports organizations in the world. You got me fired up just thinking about how coaches can screw over a program and just leave for a new job with no consequences.
@RexChapman @60Minutes If the NCAA is that corrupt, then why did you take $ from CBS to be an analyst for the Tournament?
@RexChapman @60Minutes The problem isn’t so much that college players aren’t paid. It is that college/university sports has become a business essentially unrelated to the institutions to which it is attached. It is simply a money-making side gig that has no relationship to higher education.
@RexChapman @60Minutes If you get NIL money shouldn’t it cancel out your scholarship free ride?
