West Virginia will have an $800 million surplus by the end of the fiscal year. A special legislative session will be held next month to amend the state budget accordingly. One of my communities needs $7 million to connect it to clean, potable water. Is that too much to ask?
@RevBradleyUMC Nah that's just a few more million that can be sent to "Ukraine and"Israel" .
@RevBradleyUMC They don’t care, they’ll give some rich people more tax breaks.
@RevBradleyUMC When taxcuts for the governor are involved, yes.
@RevBradleyUMC Guaranteed it will be too much to ask.
@RevBradleyUMC Not for the state with the most expensive water in the country.
@RevBradleyUMC Your Regional Planning and Development Council should be able to find them funding through the IJDC - and certainly with the help of Congressionally Directed Spending once Capito’s application opens.
@RevBradleyUMC Hmmm, I don’t know. Perhaps if you had a jet you could write off. That would give you more credibility.
@RevBradleyUMC No, it isn't. In fact, "demand" might be the right word.
