🛍️ Hey @Newsweek, I actually enjoy the “#Mall” within a “#Retail Department Store” concept, aka, like the multi-brand stores of old, that @Macys has recently been trying for, leasing out “store-in-store” space to Toys R Us, Starbucks, etc… within their mega stores (similar to what @Target has also been doing with Apple, Disney & LEGO), but both have yet to execute it properly. DisneyQuest was an excellent concept, that was never fully executed, in my opinion. If these Big Box Entertainment Destinations had Disney Parks & Resort - level theming, engaging attractions, memorable dining experiences & unique merchandise… they might have caught on. Believe the #DisneyQuest concept is ripe for being revisited, @RobertIger, as part of a @RetailSaved movement to revitalize Shopping Centers across the Globe. Much like the #Disney Store / Gallery was a gateway, the plus for @Disney is the chance to market @DisneyPlus while re/introducing Guests to the six @DisneyParks & @ABC, @ESPN, @DisneyStudios, @DisneyAnimation, @Pixar, @Marvel, @StarWars, @IndianaJones, @20thCentury IPs. #Singapore would be an excellent “test” destination for the concept that I pitched to HKDL executives a decade ago. I’ll be at #IAAPA Expo Asia in June. Love to further develop this idea, if Disney is interested.

Disney Quest as seen at Downtown Disney from 1998-2017. Disney Quest was and indoor interactive theme park that operated in Walt Disney World as well as a short lived location in Chicago.

🧱 Dear LEGO: IMO, The @LEGO_Group used to be the top omni-channel retailer, yet after 2.5 frustrating hours between midnight & 2:30am (on top of other recent fails), I’m beginning to think differently. First, #LEGO’s #MayTheFourth GWP Promos should ALWAYS include a #StarWars exclusive #minifigure! Second, your #eCommerce channel MUST work!! I was on a #YouTube Live-stream last night with 100s of disgruntled #VIPs having same problem. Third, a premium #Retail brand must reward their most loyal #Customers, especially, in wake of excessive price increases!!! Many on the Live-stream, gave up after 1, 2, 3 hrs of patiently waiting to get LEGO Website to work. Over time, fails like this, will erode brand credibility. 🛍️ Suggestion: Release a #LEGOvip shopping #App with parental controls for use during special events & product launches.
