Many veterans today are stepping up, not for battle (Yet), but to serve their communities on the ground. Whether it's through child protection, citizen journalism, or bringing blokes together to talk about mental health and fitness, we are still serving. Veterans are selfless by nature, and deep down, we still just want the best for Britain and its people. Veterans are coming out of the shadows!. Your support will never be taken for granted and only make us stronger as a community. Please get behind the veterans content out there, who are trying to make a difference and give them a follow. @DaDiscordDev5a @_AdvanceUK Just for your clarity, I am a paid member in both Advance UK and Restore Britain. Sticks and stones mate, have the mental capacity to see past a minority. It's a democracy after all, you are entitled to your opinion.
Hopefully the Veterans over @_AdvanceUK will join our community here @RestoreVets. Despite political differences, Veterans should always come first. While I admit I am biased, ensuring our heroes are prioritized should be a foundational belief shared by all political parties. In all honesty, I have only ever heard and seen this advocated by @benhabib6 and @RupertLowe10.

Since my medical discharge and PTSD diagnosis in 2015, the first six years in the civilian world were the hardest fight I've ever fought. I pushed everyone I loved away, and my marriage ended. The survivor's guilt, night terrors, lack of sleep, and alcohol eventually took their toll, and I attempted suicide twice, one of which was nearly fatal. However, had I not experienced this, I wouldn't have the fight I have today, the fight we all possess to succeed. I have completely turned my life around. I love life, have a beautiful wife and fantastic kids whom I adore, and share a fantastic relationship with my ex-wife, who saw my fall firsthand. Life can change if you just ask for help. I know in our mindset it's seen as weak, but it is NOT. If there are veterans out there struggling, please don't suffer in silence. Reach out to another veteran and TALK; we might take the piss, but deep down, we care and look out for our own. You will feel better for it, trust me. We shared the weight in service; we can certainly do the same in Civ Div. Please reach out. My DMs are always open, and I will always do my best to support each and everyone of you. "Be The Best"
