I've long advocated for a strategic decoupling from China, including no longer relying on their critical minerals. Read more from @WSJ on how the Responsible Use of Seafloor Resources Act will promote U.S. national security and energy independence.wsj.com/articles/u-s-l…
@RepCarolMiller, we appreciate your support on decoupling from China, but right now we need your help to counter Russia's aggression towards Ukraine. Please stand with us in this crucial moment to ensure our freedom and sovereignty. Together, we can overcome this threat. #StandWithUkraine #EndRussianAggression.
@RepCarolMiller @WSJ With the potential to meet 35-45% of global demand for critical minerals by 2065, deep-sea mining is coming, whether the environmental lobby like it or not. theoregongroup.com/investment-ins…

@RepCarolMiller @WSJ Separate from China completely? Trump wanted a tariff war and prices went up and never went down. Lots of bear shelves? You want to go to the bottom of the ocean for Nickel? Lots of pollution produced when mining! You ok with that at the bottom of the ocean ?
@RepCarolMiller @WSJ Crazy that this isn’t getting more attention. We have two congressmen who are willing to destroy the ocean. Find another solution instead of kowtowing to mining companies who have lobbied you and payed off the ISA.
