@ABC11_WTVD For every child like this, there are 1000’s of special needs children who have cried tears of joy that they could now read their teacher’s lips, could learn social cues, could see their teacher smile, or even their classmates. Those disabled at home can send their child w/masks.

@lsquaredmath Very thankful that this particular child doesn’t mind. My own children don’t mind either. But what is good for some of the children isn’t the correct answer for all. Parents should have the option to either mask their child or not. It shouldn’t be forced.

My fully vaxxed son has had to sit out recess on two occasions bc he pulled down his mask while running around in 90 deg weather. Repeat - fully vaxxed, outside, running. @NYCMayor @DOEChancellor

I cannot BEGIN to tell you havoc that the lies @rweingarten and @CDCDirector have told about returning to school have caused. We have kids we've been unable to locate. The State Dept of Children in both CT and NY are overrun w these calls. We have no recourse. A true tragedy.

Today my baby girl graduates from high school and will lead her class in as valedictorian. After a year of uncertainty and a year of fighting for normalcy for her and her classmates, you will not find a prouder Mama this morning than this one ❤️.
