Big update for the Alpaca community.
The official @grasshillfarms Grass Hill Alpacas website now has a dedicated page telling the original Bitcoin story and includes the official $ALPACAS contract address.
This is a huge milestone in preserving one of Bitcoin’s most iconic pieces of history while carrying that legacy forward on Solana.

The original farm that helped create the Bitcoin alpaca lore is now directly acknowledging the community that’s continuing its legacy. That’s something you don’t see every day. (CoinDesk)

The lore is real.
The community is building.
The legacy lives on.
Welcome to the herd.
this is my next conviction coin
I believe in this one because of the roots. Just by buying this coin I was able to interact with some of the oldest BTC contributors in the space and you can’t get that anywhere else
I am so bullish on $ALPACAS
Thank you all. More coming soon. If you like this video, let me know and I'll repost for the world. And let me know what content you'd like me to make. Planning to tell my wild stories from btc circa 2011!
This is the next 10M coin on @Pumpfun

In 2011, while Bitcoin was still a joke to most of the world, one farm in Massachusetts (Grass Hill Alpacas) started accepting Bitcoin for their wool socks.
That wasn’t marketing.
That was history.
It became the very first real-world crypto meme in existence. Alpacas turned into the unofficial mascot of early Bitcoiners. People were literally calling themselves “alpaca-sock-wearing crypto-terrorists.” Gavin Andresen bought the socks. It was in Bitcoin explainer videos. It was everywhere.
This was before DOGE, before SHIBA, before any of these "OGs memes"
This is the original Bitcoin meme, reborn with perfect timing, perfect visuals, and actual lore that can’t be faked.
This is the kind of coin that doesn’t just 10x… it becomes a permanent part of the culture again.
You have the chance to be part of it while it's sitting at not even 500k. If you have the vision (and a working brain), it's a free trade to take.
History doesn’t repeat… it moons. @AlpacasDARWS
The true spirit animal of early Bitcoin was the alpaca
It starts in 2011.
Bitcoin was under $1. The entire ecosystem was a handful of cypherpunks, forum nerds, and libertarian dreamers. A small online store called Alpaca Socks became one of the first merchants on Earth to accept Bitcoin as payment.
The Bitcoin forums of the era BitcoinTalk, early r/Bitcoin turned alpacas into a running mascot. Memes spread. Alpaca drawings appeared on merch. The animal became shorthand for "proof that Bitcoin works."
"HODL" came later. "To the moon" came later. But alpacas were the first Bitcoin meme that meant something real. It said: this isn't just play money on a forum. Someone real sold something real
Bitcoin didn't start with institutions. It started with a woman running a sock website
Today this farm for the first time is onboarded into the PF creator program.
How did they get onboarded? Someone decided to do a four hour drive to the farm to explain to them how PF works and how the creator program works. they responded that they get hundreds of emails and messages to be onboarded but they thought they were all a scam but no one actually dared to drive to them and explain to them the whole concept of how it works.
So they accepted the onboarding marking probably the biggest PF creators program onboarding since it came out
i am super bullish on this and I have not been bullish on something in a while
I am going to buy me some alpaca socks
the thing that keeps pulling me back to $alpacas isn’t the meme.
it’s the family.
most projects launch a token and then spend months trying to invent lore.
this story started 15 years ago.
back in 2011, David Forster convinced his parents at Grass Hill Alpacas to accept Bitcoin as payment for their products. It became one of the first real businesses in the world to accept BTC, and their alpaca socks became one of the first real products people could buy with Bitcoin. ( coindesk.com/markets/2013/0… )
that single decision turned an alpaca farm in Massachusetts into a piece of Bitcoin history.
the alpaca became Bitcoin’s unofficial mascot.
the “alpaca sock” meme spread through forums, videos, articles and early Bitcoin culture. Even Gavin Andresen, Bitcoin’s lead developer at the time, talked about buying alpaca socks with BTC. ( en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Alpaca?ut… )
fast forward to today.
the farm is still there. the family is still there. the owner’s son is still there.
and now the community is literally talking to the same family that helped create one of the earliest chapters in Bitcoin’s story.
that’s what makes this different.
you’re not buying into a made-up narrative. you’re buying into a living piece of crypto history with real people and a story that predates almost everything this market worships today.
before $hodl $doge $pepe
there was an alpaca farm accepting bitcoin and the family that helped write that chapter is still here.
