Believe it or not it was Chuck Todd who set the nation ablaze regarding Ronna MCDaniel…Chuck freaking Todd of all people…then it was Morning Joe, Nicolle Wallace, and then Rachael Maddow. I mean Rachael dedicated her whole show to that election denier and traitor. This was two days of the most passionate pushback on national news in 35 years. NBC had a long storied history of prize winning journalism since 1940 and now they tried to force a traitor on their network and their anchors were not having it… Great Job to those who made this happen… now let’s fire those responsible for hiring her. yahoo.com/news/opinion-3…
@PrezLives2022 I believe, but we may never know, that Rachel may have walked into an office of the chief executive of the network and made them an offer they couldn’t refuse., you hire Ronna McDaniel, you lose Rachel Maddow.
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 If she did, I doubt she went in alone.
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 I’m guessing there was a short deadline for CBS to change their decision before MSNBC turned into dead air.
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 I could totally see that.
That was my prediction. Maddow does not need her job, they talked her into staying. I seriously doubt she would renew her contract and likely told them that if this is the direction this station is going, she would be leaving. I am certain that the hosts all chatted on a conference call. Many of them gave 15-20+ minutes on their show to explain exactly why it was such a bad idea. Rachael Maddow and Joy Ann Reid donated huge portions of their show. I liked how Maddow started it out with a history lesson about fascists in our country. It felt like she was providing a history lesson to the executives, the. Went on to discuss exactly what Ronna McDaniel’s direct involve in the coup was. Brilliant 🙌
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 Probably very probably
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 Or Nicole Wallace. Viewers were down while she was on maternity leave. Even though Alicia did a fine job. She has power.
@RememberMeYeah @PrezLives2022 Maybe they ALL walked into that office with the same ultimatum. Ronna had no business even breathing the air at MSNBC.
