Later today, subject to successful on-chain execution, the GenesisL1 community bridge validators are scheduled to execute the community’s decision: 2,000,000 L1 from the network’s community pool will be bridged to Base and deployed as concentrated liquidity on Uniswap. Advance execution notice: the community liquidity position is not yet live at the time of this announcement. A short confirmation containing the deployment transactions, Uniswap pool and final position details will follow immediately after execution. This will be GenesisL1’s first community-scale liquidity deployment in the broader EVM ecosystem—giving users, builders, scientists, institutions and autonomous applications a direct, permissionless market gateway to the network’s native asset. On Base, bridged L1 is represented as wL1 through a decentralized Hyperlane-based bridge secured by a published 3-of-5 set of independent community validators. Native L1 remains the gas, staking and governance asset of GenesisL1: a live, EVM-compatible Layer-1 network built for decentralized science, verifiable computation and machine intelligence. The underlying contracts remain independently accessible on-chain rather than depending exclusively on GenesisL1’s website or domain. Proposal #133 passed through an on-chain vote by bonded L1 holders, with 100% of participating voting power voting Yes and recorded quorum exceeding the required threshold. • Community funded. The 2,000,000 L1 comes entirely from the GenesisL1 community pool—not from a company, founder, team member, private investor or issuer token sale. • Community governed. The deployment is administered by a community-nominated 3-of-5 multisig comprising bridge validators executing the mandate approved through on-chain governance. The position, fees and resulting assets remain within the custody and governance arrangements established by Proposal #133. • Built as public infrastructure. The approved position is single-sided L1 concentrated liquidity paired with USDC across a deliberately broad range of approximately $0.05–$100 per L1. This range is a technical AMM configuration—not a valuation, price target, floor, ceiling or guarantee. • Governance-mandated duration. Proposal #133 directs the position to remain deployed through at least 31 December 2026. Its treatment after that date is again determined through community governance. • Direct EVM reach. Where a route and quote are available, the Uniswap app’s cross-chain routing may combine bridging and swapping into wL1 on Base from supported networks including Ethereum, Unichain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Soneium, ZKsync, Zora and World Chain. Route availability, liquidity, fees and slippage can change. Why it matters GenesisL1 is not a token waiting for a roadmap to become real. It is a live Layer-1 network with operating governance, deployed applications, public infrastructure and a functioning native economy. GenesisL1 turns the blockchain into a shared scientific and computational layer where data, models, intellectual property, computation and applications can become verifiable, programmable and composable infrastructure.
