In October 2020, the founding members and volunteers took part in the first Running Refugee Relay. The group of 12 ran 262 miles from Chicago to Springfield, IL for Moria refugees.

Our relay team in Palestine even participated on our Running Refugee Relay in October. They ran with restrictions but managed to each run at least a half marathon worth of runs for refugees.

We are going to take a look back at our Chicago team’s 262 mile relay. Ash started the relay with the first leg and Ali finished it with the last leg. In October, our Chicago team ran 262 miles for refugees.

One of the organizers says refugees in the Moria refugee camp in Greece are living in makeshift tents about to collapse as soon as they get hit with rainfall.There are many children. There are 20 toilets for about 9 thousand registered in this new camp

In 169 #UNRWA schools in Jordan, today over 115,000 girls and boys went Back to Learning. All UNRWA schools, teachers and children are following the MOH health and safety regulations to protect against COVID-19: social distancing - in the corridors, playgrounds and classrooms.
