Not enough people know the story of Sue Wicks. She was a great player, an incredible teammate and a trailblazer. Thank you @meanbarb for telling her story during Pride Month.

@RebeccaLobo @meanbarb My gf had Liberty season tix back in ‘97-‘98 and she had such a crush on Sue. One night after a game we were at Mustang Sally’s and I ran into Sue in the bathroom. She invited us to her table and my gf almost fainted. Sue is so great. ♥️
@RebeccaLobo @meanbarb her shirt hangs at the RAC (now Jersey Mike's Arena). Still alltime Rutgers scoring leader, with Cappie Pondexter (whose shirt also hangs at the RAC) as number 2.
@RebeccaLobo @meanbarb Suuuuuu! Luv her ! Always a Liberty 🗽
@RebeccaLobo @meanbarb Thanks for sharing this. I enjoyed watching Wicks play but I never knew this story. This history needs to be remembered (also, the news that Sue is now an oyster farmer delights me for some reason)
