Oh sure. I mean, I can taste the difference with some of the stuff, and I definitely have my particular preferences when it comes to certain brand name products, but yeah, I'm mostly getting suckered by impulse purchases. I was just buying a Coke at work today, and had a waive of nostalgia. I remember riding my bike to the grocery store in the summer with 3 quarters in my pocket. I distinctly remember a time when a 20 oz was only .68 cents, and in Texas, that came out to exactly .75 cents. I thought "Damn! That's some serious inflation!" And then I realized I sounded like my grandpa, "Back in my day, a baseball was only a nickel!" That sounded insane to me back then. 😂
When I was a kid in the 90's, a 12.oz can of Coke from a vending machine was $.50. Now it's $1. That's an increase of 100%. A 20.oz bottle was $1.00, and now it's $3.00. That's a 200% increase. Why have plastic bottles increased at double the rate of cans? Is this the work of the climate people?🤔

I can't speak for everyone, but I think you're misunderstanding the feedback you're getting here. I don't hate you for not understanding, I'm just dumbfounded that you exist. However taken back you are by the number of people who say "ma'am" as a traditional courtesy and term of respect, I'd wager the number of people on the other side of that spectrum outnumber you by quite a bit. If you are a born and raised American, it's harder to believe you are serious than it is to think you are trolling, and I'm on the fence as to which one it is. 🤔
I saw the post from this lady yesterday. I am 43. I have no problem being called ma'am. I find it respectful and polite. When someone calls me this, I automatically call them sir or ma'am in return so they know that I appreciate their show of respect and wish to return the favor. Mutual respect is what makes a society work. And frankly, we need more of it.
