In any and every scenario it is appropriate for me to state “I am a woman”. It does not become “transphobic” if I declare that truth in the presence of a man who thinks he is a woman. Watching ‘Christians’ use leftist logic to try to explain how “Christ is King” can sometimes be antisemitic is honestly embarrassing and has done little more than expose the inconsistencies of their own logic. Christ is King no matter who says it. That’s how truth works. The attempt to scandalize truth is only done by those who inherently hate it. Those who inherently hate Christ are attempting to scandalize Him. Similarly, those who inherently hate women are the ones who have tried to scandalize gender.
@RealCandaceO Your religion is personal. There is no good reason to impose it on others. That is the only way a secular society can function. You are entitled to hate other people but expressing it openly as you have only illustrates social and intellectual inferiority.
The argument is not that Christ isn't king, or that we shouldn't say Christ is King. It's that not everyone is saying "Christ is King" in good faith. There's plenty of evidence of that, and there are good reasons for Christians to find it objectionable. When a non-Christian gets angry and curses by exclaiming, "Jesus Christ!" they've taken the Lord's name in vain. Christians find that objectionable, and they find it objectionable because God Himself prohibits it and says it offends Him. Your argument is like saying, "I don't care if people take the Lord's name in vain and say 'Jesus Christ' as a curse. At least his name is being said, no matter who says it or what they mean by it." If someone says "Christ is King" with the wrong heart and intent — to attack or provoke a Jewish person, for example — they are coupling abuse of the Lord's name with disrespect for another person made in His image. I don't see why any Christians wouldn't find that objectionable. Appreciate you engaging the critics. We need more of this dialogue.
Those who argue that saying "Christ is King" can be antisemitic are approaching the issue from a leftist perspective, reminiscent of criticisms of the "All Lives Matter" slogan. Asserting "Christ is King" is a personal declaration of faith and shouldn't be subject to restrictions.
@RealCandaceO This is how applications are going in Washington State..... All about gender, pronouns. I'm sure since I didn't use any of those extra fields and chose no pronoun and female, I'll be passed up. Just like I'm passed up because I'm not vaxxed. When will these nightmares be over?
@RealCandaceO My favorite response is to say, "I don't see how Christ is King can be considered anti-semitic seeing as how Jesus was a jew." Have yet to see a response more than just bumbling nonsense.
@RealCandaceO So thankful that you’re finally identifying as a proud NAZI.
@RealCandaceO Satan isn't a fan of "Christ is King" and he's letting the world know.
@RealCandaceO No no no Candace… logic is antisemitic blood libel. Please refrain from using it.
