Fellow LFP pack owners: Tesla DOES NOT recommend that you charge to 100% daily. Doing this will still impact the lifespan of your pack. Studies show that somewhere around 70–80% is still recommended for pack longevity. Tesla recommends that you charge to 100% ONCE PER WEEK. This is just to give the computer a chance to recalibrate your battery capacity (since LFP batteries have a much flatter voltage curve). You don’t need to do it every single day, and you shouldn’t. I have an iOS Shortcut set up that sets my charge limit to 100% overnight between Saturday and Sunday. After adequate time has passed to charge up to 100%, it sets the charge limit back down to 75%, which is where it stays the rest of the week. This complies with Tesla’s recommendation, maximizes pack longevity, and is totally automated.
