So next time you read league of Extraordinary Gentlemen maybe you could play along and see connections you make, hell Kevin made a board game for it, but yeah League has a lot inspiration in Fiction but it wasn't just Marvel and DC that inspired it.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is one of the most well known of Alan Moore's works and is based on a simple concept, crossing over various literary characters and making them maybe darker and drawings connection but what if I told you that this....is a game?

To talk about this, I think he definitely was an influence if only for the glow but there are motifs from the Captain Atom comics that did influence Watchmen the early stories had a countdown and the way the yellow looks brings to mind that version of Atom

Wondering what @Exalted_Speed / @ReadsWatchmen thinks about Doctor Solar’s influence on Dr Manhattan. He has much more in common with Dr Solar than Captain Atom.
