In this case monster strength refers to the 5 HP variations that monsters have being Normal, Strong, Very Strong, Weak, Very Weak. For example a 8*4* Very Strong Seregios has 32032 HP and a Very Weak has 29568. Not a big difference.

So with some more research, Tempered Monster do still give Mini Crowns but are biased towards higher HP. Monster HP IS linked to its size with Strong monsters being sometimes Silver and Very Strong monsters being always Silver or Gold and Very Weak being sometimes Mini.

Discovered some interesting things in Wilds whilst crown hunting recently. 1. Tempered monsters no longer give mini crowns. 2. Monster HP is directly linked to its size. so the reason TempMons don't give mini crowns anymore is because they're always higher hp.

Running, pushing, crawling and climbing through the maps simply allows us to take in the environments better Mounts are by definition designed to make us travel fast and the environments need to accomodate that as well. I've been saying this even before Wilds released

Yeah I replayed some World over this weekend and I don't think I can avoid it any longer: animal mounts were broadly a miss-step for the series imo, the act of traversing these maps is so integral to the precise flavor of MH
