shinrin-yoku is the perfect way to connect with nature. It's a distinctly Japanese way of taking a walk in the woods. Us humans have spent 99% of our development as a species outdoors. Relax your mind and body by taking a walk.

I went hiking in Lancaster. Check out Otter Creek! There is a beautiful trail along the water occupied by song birds singing in choral praise to the beauty of nature. Visiting nature is a great way to tend to Mental Health and Wellness!

I am wondering if there are solutions to the problem of overburdened 12-step communities due to influx of mandated attendees in SUD treatment. There is not enough people or time to properly give each of these persons attention in order to work through their program.

Hiking is fantastic for your recovery. It's a simple reminder that you are alive, your body loves you, and it will take you into a beautiful world if you let it.
