Fear at the petrol station, he tries to set fire to the petrol: stopped by passers-by and the police The disaster was fortunately avoided thanks to the intervention of the manager and some people present on site Moments of madness and a near tragedy in Ravenna. It all happened just before 11am, at the petrol station on the corner between Piazza Caduti sul Lavoro and Via Tommaso Gulli, not far from Via Trieste. Here a man, for reasons yet to be clarified, attempted to set fire to petrol from one of the service pumps. In a video circulating on social media, the perpetrator of the crazy gesture can be seen first spraying the area with petrol using one of the pumps of the petrol station and then setting fire by walking away. The disaster was fortunately avoided thanks to the intervention of the manager and some people present on site who limited the damage. The Fire Brigade, Carabinieri, State Police and Local Police of Ravenna also immediately rushed to the scene. The author of the crazy gesture was then stopped and taken to the barracks by the military who will have to clarify the reasons for the attempted fire. As a precaution, 118 rescuers also intervened on site.
