In BG3 why does "disarm" automatically show up on traps of I have a disarm tool kit but I have to manually select my theives tool kits to unlock doors?
@RadiationGhoul When you say "manually select thieves tools" are you going to your inventory and finding them, or right-clicking the door and selecting "lockpick"?
@RadiationGhoul I hate it too, but I think it's because there's only one way to disarm a trap. There's multiple ways to get through a locked door. I don't agree with the decision, I just think that's why. And it's dumb.
@RadiationGhoul It might be because in D&D there’s like a bunch more stuff a party can do when they reach a door. Some parties never ever pick the lock. But a trap, well you can really only disarm it. You can smash a door but you can’t smash a trap. Or you can but we’ll you know.
