Before you trust a raise, slow down and ask what is actually being promised. Not what the pitch makes you feel. What is written down? Who is responsible for it? Who can enforce it if things go wrong? A lot of confusion in this market comes from treating every layer like it means the same thing. Access is not ownership. Governance is not a contract. A credential is not investor protection. Distribution is not trust. None of those things are bad. They just need to be named honestly. A deal can be exciting and still not be clear enough yet.
