Project Prometheus may be one of the most important AI stories people are underweighting. It's not just another model lab or a raise without a plan. It points to a bigger idea, AI is moving from software to the physical economy. Growth by acquisition is the play.
My read is that Crusoe is one of the better signals that the AI trade is rotating downstream. The misplaced information is that people are still looking only at models and GPUs. Power is the new compute. Compute is the new oil.
What makes Crusoe interesting is the speed of valuation reset. $10B valuation late 2025. Potentially ~$30B in 2026 if this reported round lands. That is the market repricing energy-first AI infrastructure in real time. Not because it is pretty, but because it may be necessary.
