Downtown Denver office vacancy is nearly 40%. Small businesses have been crushed by lost foot traffic. Crime, homelessness and street disorder have helped drive people away. As a Colorado native, if it weren’t for the Broncos, I’d have little reason to step foot in downtown Denver anymore. Remote work started the problem. Failed leadership made it worse. Denver deserves a safe, vibrant downtown where businesses actually want to invest and people want to visit. This administration has had its chance. Mike Johnston does not deserve another term.
Denver, I’m running for reelection. Together, we’ve reduced homelessness and crime, made housing more affordable, and brought downtown back to life. But the work isn’t done. I’m running to finish the job and build a Denver with opportunity for everyone.
