If national policy fails us, it's time for a grassroots work-around. The NSC didn't ban testing—the PCRMP still gives every man over 50 the right to request a free PSA check. We must use local PPGs & PCNs to inform men & bypass this gatekeeping. Local UDI starts now! (3/3)
The real harm? Over 10,000 men diagnosed at metastatic Stage 4 each year, facing incurable disease. Modern screening cuts mortality by 20-30%—meaning the NSC is leaving up to 3,600 avoidable deaths on the table annually. We cannot just let this disease fester. (2/3)
The UK NSC’s decision to limit prostate cancer screening to just a few thousand BRCA2 carriers is deeply frustrating. Diagnosed with an aggressive Gleason 4+3 in 2020 with ZERO family history, I know firsthand that a narrow policy leaves the silent majority exposed. (1/3)

Three of my uncles died from prostate cancer.
