I had another great day sharing about Project Sunset with the sixth graders at Boulan Park Middle School talking about how they aren’t too young to make a difference! They had a lot of great questions and I’m excited to see the awesome projects they start!

Worldwide there was significant improvement in the fight against malaria from 2000-2016 but we lost ground in 2017 with more malaria deaths than the year before. We can’t stop fighting this fight for those that don’t have the means to protect themselves based on their birthplace.
In the 2017 WHO Malaria Report, the Director-General was adamantly encouraging the world that how we invest in the fight against malaria in these next few pivotal years will determine if we reach our 2020 incidence target goals, which will set the course for our 2030 goals.

Our Project Sunset team in Gabon has been hard at work and have already distributed 150 nets! #projectsunset
UPDATE-Good news: our 3,000 nets made it to Gabon! Bad news: Gabonese Customs is holding the nets at the port asking for $8,000 for the nets to be released. Please pray for the government to realize this 80% tax is preventing so many people from receiving protection from malaria.
