We want to @ChiPubSchools to set aside enough funds to build an age-appropriate playground in time for the beginning of SY23! We also want CPS to replace the unsafe modulars and put down a new blacktop.

Yes! The modulars at Scammon are falling apart. Heat, A/C, exterior locks, bathrooms are all in disrepair. Scammon is NOT slated for modular replacement this year. #InvestInScammon
CPS is launching a modular renovation/replacement program. Often at Board of Ed meetings, we hear from parents complaining about modular classrooms being used are old and falling apart.
We've learned that Scammon will NOT use the modular buildings for class during the 2022-2023 school year. Thank you to administration for protecting Scammon students and teachers! We hope that CPS will take notice and permanently replace the modulars. #InvestInScammon
