@te_pickering @astrocrawford @vacant3rdman @astronomatty @vacant3rdman and I talked about the potential of splitting things like hardware outside the OCS itself, which would obviously be ideal from a dev perspective. Our main challenge is making things easy for nontechnical users, hence the desire for one easy repo (and soon docker).
@astrocrawford @vacant3rdman @astronomatty @te_pickering @astrocrawford POCS is more of an application than a package per se, but we certainly play well with astropy and couldn't do much without it!
@vacant3rdman has been coding up a storm to allow me to use ZWO cameras in addition to the normal DSLR cameras! While most people will stick to the DSLRs, it's awesome to have this option available for those who might want to play with some better cameras. Thanks!
