Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a medication that can reverse an overdose that is caused by an opioid drug.
A 16 y/o sophomore in Ohio took ONE pill at a typical high school party. He died that night from the toxic effects of opiates.
On average approximately five people die each day in Ohio due to drug overdose.
