Ik roep het al jaren! Opstarten van installaties is de gevaarlijkste activiteit bij olie/gas- en petrochemische installaties. Opnieuw een Procesveiligheid incident en ik durf nu al te zeggen dat er een probleem was met een afsluiter.😢

Rond 20:45 uur is op Chemelot een brand ontstaan, voorafgegaan door enkele explosies die mogelijk hoorbaar zijn geweest in de omgeving. De brandweer was snel ter plaatse en de brand is inmiddels onder controle.
