Being Software Developer v/s Indie Hacker requires different mindset during development As an indie hacker you need this to keep in mind before you write code- > First vibecode the feature to validate the theory, then work on fixing it > Your DAU will be less than a normal well known SaaS > You just take care of edge cases you receive via customer support or you face them yourselves, more than that is waste of your time > Push everything to main, until you develop a feature which has low probability of success then make a temporary branch > Push to Vercel directly from your CLI (No need to run "npm run build" to verify build errors, while pushing if it throws error, you fix it directly) > Rate Limiter and Auth check on every API route is non-negotiable > Track Every button click and user journey, as that will tell you more about your user than your user informing you > And last but most important- innovation comes at a cost, so first solve what is validated, market it well to get users to keep the wheel running for cashflow, then work on experimenting different concepts to innovate within your SaaS. Well, that has been my experience which I am going to double down more.

If you see your logs, then you'll know half of the time your site analytics don't track it because majority time the request is not from the browser itself. So earlier I used to see logs in Vercel itself, but Vercel Observability is very expensive. So, today I experimented something. There is something called "Drain Logs" in Vercel, it can transfer Traces/Logs/Web Analytics from Vercel server to 3rd party provider of my choice. I chose Sentry. And so far the experience is great. I will update in the future how it goes.

it writes well. But needs more detailed prompt. And for UI you need to prompt more and give a lot of reference imo from your old components, google stitch or from competitor. If code much better. Then it works as per expectations. And after using it for a month or two, you'll get comfortable with it and set right expectations from it, then it would be more easy to you. If you compare with Claude, it is not there, but if you can prompt and explain well to it, then it does the job.
