Our first strimmer case of the year 🥺❤️🩹 Dear little Jason was very lucky to be spotted on a wildlife camera and rescued last weekend. He had a large, deep and infected wound across the top of his head. Thankfully he is responding well to treatment so far 🫶
@Prickles_Paws What’s a strimmer? I’m unfamiliar with that term in Missouri.
@Prickles_Paws Oh no! I wish they'd outlaw those things. Better for wildlife not to trim edges at all but for neat freaks, lawn edging shears would do the job. A slumbering hedgehog would be much easier to spot at this pace and there would be time to take evasive action.
@Prickles_Paws Poor little Jason. Get well soon, little one. 💕💕🤗🤗🦐🦔🦔🦔🦔
@Prickles_Paws Oh no:( That looks painful. Poor dear Jason. Am glad he was rescued and that he is responding well to treatment. Thanks to you lovely souls.
@Prickles_Paws That must have been so painful, people do need to check before strimming. He’s safe with you now 🥰
@Prickles_Paws Wildlife cameras are a game changer. They've saved so many lives. Thank you for taking care of little Jason 😊
