On this day Denmark🇩🇰recognized Croatia 🇭🇷as a sovereign state on January 15, 1992. Denmark subsequently actively supported Croatian accession to the European Union🇪🇺and NATO🌎 Denmark and Croatia are working closely together as partners and allies. @VladaRH @MVEP_hr @DanishMFA

First and foremost, we want to thank all the citizens who participated in the presidential elections. We conclude this “super election year” with victories in the parliamentary and European elections, where Croatian citizens entrusted us with the majority. 1/2

US sanctions against Russian energy companies are yet another indication of the many negative consequences of Russian aggression against #Ukraine. Gazprom Neft, which owns 50% of NIS, has also been sanctioned, raising the question of how the entire situation will affect 🇭🇷 JANAF.

I exchanged views with former @EU_Commission Commissioner and a friend of 🇭🇷 @JHahnEU on the current European and global challenges, the importance of strengthening transatlantic relations 📷

At The Economist Croatia Business Summit, we are discussing global challenges, further aid to #Ukraine and expansion of 🇪🇺. Support to Ukraine is important for the security of Europe and the defense of the international order based on the rule of law.

This week we were thrilled to be welcomed to Brussels by the Croatian Prime Minister, @PremijerRH, who met with four of the ten Ukrainian young leaders that the Croatian Government funded to attend the One Young World Summit Montréal/Tiohtià:ke. “It was a real pleasure to meet the young leaders from Ukraine who received a scholarship from Croatia to attend the One Young World summit this year.
