After 1 year of war in Sudan, 18M Sudanese face acute food insecurity, with the @UN warning the country is on the brink of famine. Without more aid, an estimated 220,000 severely malnourished children could die in the coming months. Today, we committed $100M in additional aid.

@PowerUSAID @UN More nation destroying aid. Both for the US and it’s taxpayers, as well as pushing Sudan into subservience.
@PowerUSAID @UN But Gaza!!!!!!! Jews!!!! Stop distracting people with real famine!!!!
I like the ad I saw today by I think the international justice community. It said diversity and women are needed to help solve the water problems of Earth. So I really wanted to know how specifically, such as compared to any other gender? Maybe helping to show how water changed the Earth, from civilizations around Mesopotamia to Roman aqueducts to farming to where the world is now or still is challenged by access to it, but its qualities and roles women assumed in civilizations involving access and use and even transportation of water. Women often carry water in images I have seen, and also carry responsibility roles over the care and birth of life. But also over duties such as cooking in some places of the world; whereas in others, they might design schematics for innovative clean water systems and other noble inventions outside of a family, township, village or tribe. So it would be a great way to show how genders no matter the norms of a civilization, can help in different possible ways about this basic component of life on Earth! But also, to exercise our tolerances and encouragements about roles of women in different cultures and spaces about the world. It could be a Smithsonian exhibit all around the world, and make learning and ideas to engage helping water as a topic, fun! 🕊️
@PowerUSAID @UN Tired of USAID dumping billions into a region where repeated violence and coups derail the hard work and money spent by American tax payers. We have to have a better Africa strategy that includes the risk of investing in a country that has a high probability further of failure.
@PowerUSAID @UN Don’t see anybody protesting this and standing up for the Sudanese people. Imagine the outcry if this was happening in Gaza. What a sad, indifferent world
@PowerUSAID @UN Thank you for caring & supporting those in need. Please do all you can to stop weapons sales. Weapons & war only add to global suffering while enriching very few & waste $$$ that could go to humanitarian needs & social good worldwide. 🙏🏻☮️ Another way is possible if we choose it.
