'Working Out Loud' has been one of the central tenants of @PolicyLabAU - in our first 6 months we did 10 blogs posts, released 8 tools, guides and articles, and built out our website and Twitter presence.
It was great to hear @stefanhajkowicz set out his account of global digital megatrends at @PolicyLabAU today and to discuss his ideas with colleagues from many different backgrounds. Exactly the kind of debate we need right now.

Digital advances present great opportunities, but they’re not without flaws, says @stefanhajkowicz. Biased data sets in #AI, social platforms being linked to heightened stress and anxiety, #cybersecurity issues. Many things we need to mindful of as we reap the benefits.
@stefanhajkowicz: “Hire more customer facing staff, not less - automate the transactional stuff, but people like (and need) human contact”.
@stefanhajkowicz: “Australia puts out about 5000 qualified ICT grads a year, but the demand is for 20,000”. The skills shortage is a key limit on digital transformation.
@stefanhajkowicz: “The next ten years of AI we’ll see more acceleration. Problems that we thought unsolvable will become solvable suddenly”.
