Every Shopify app dev knows this feeling 🤩
Shopify degraded performance again yesterday. Not a full outage. Wonder how many merchants even noticed.
I’m thinking about adding app change monitoring to @RevenueShield. Detect app embeds, track changes, watch bundle size, and trigger a store test when something changes. If an app update affects product, cart, or checkout, the merchant should know about it
As a dev, I can ship an update to an app embed and instantly affect every merchant storefront using it. No warning. No merchant approval. Sometimes no obvious way for them to see what changed. That feels insane to me?
