@zekramu @arealhumantony price me in for the love of the game
If your codebase is structured like 💩, an agent will smear and replicate everywhere—all the bad patterns. So it's always a good idea to lean into the latent space every now and then and use its computational ability to choose better names, module structure, file names, and directory structure than a human can do on their own. I call this a janitorial Roomba task. Something like this is a great fit for a skill and can run as a background cron job or a GitHub Actions job off your trunk branch.
Loom, aka Kittens, is now called Overalls. I'll be releasing it at @ainativedev in New York circa Nov 3. It's a self-hosted AI developer platform that runs on your own infrastructure and is released under the MIT license. Check out the attached screenshot or [1] below for features/to learn more. [1] gist.github.com/user-attachmen…
Imagine the people shaping how we build with agents, in one room. Steve Yegge closes day one. Geoffrey Huntley talks verification. @bookingcom, @awscloud and @MistralAI share how their teams build now. 52 sessions, 700+ devs. London sold out. 2 to 4 Nov, Brooklyn:
Here are the slides: talks.alexrios.me/gc-africa-26-m…
🔒 Before you replace a lock, profile it and find where the contention really is. In @alextrending benchmark, 98.78% of the delay showed up at sync.(*Mutex).Unlock, because waiters add the delay and Unlock gets the stack. From Why Go Hides Its Spinlocks at #GopherConAfrica2026.
Bad news can travel through five layers of management and arrive at the top as great news. Nobody had to lie. Nobody had to conspire. Everyone simply did what seemed most reasonable for their own career. And perhaps that's the most disturbing part. I wrote about a problem many engineering organizations know all too well, but few are willing to recognize in themselves.
I recorded a short video of how the game I build with my boys also can teach you programming along the way. Also embeds a pi-durable agent straight in browser to be a teacher.

Web client should be out in ~30min 🫡
@iBenlim Awesome, would love to hear more on how you’re integrating! 🐷
PiG 0.5.0 bringing a ton of stuff, release dragging longer than I’d like but it’ll be worth it. some new features around piglets as well that I think will make everyone happy with all the fast paced change going on with Pi 🐷

@zekramu No one show her elder super halo mario rings
@EliasLumer @badlogicgames I’m doing it as a part of pi-arena and 0.5.0 ( at least the one pi rust agent I know) but am welcoming others if you know them. Then yes runtime wise I agree actually but for me when thinking agents devloop time is increasing critic
