@winniesun A14. #WinnieSun Ultimately, we want to build long term relationships. We have sold courses to people I connected to years back. But I kept them engaged through compelling content. People buy from those they like, know and trust. This requires long term, genuine engagement.

@winniesun A8. #WinnieSun I have 3 basics. I replace useless adverbs - like extremely, definitely, truly, very, or really - with strong verbs. I replace clichés with original thoughts or novel insights. I convert passive sentences into active voice as passive words send readers to sleep.

@winniesun #WinnieSun I don’t obsess about brevity from the start. I write my first drafts swiftly and freely. Then I remind myself that strong writing is rewriting. I am also willing to murder my proverbial darlings. I ask for peer review; I am too close to my drafts to pick their flaws.

@winniesun A6. #WinnieSun Writing is a muscle that can only be sharpened through practice. Great writers also learn through imitation. I aim to read one book per week. Beating the writer’s block also requires grit, the ability to keep going even when you feel disinclined.

@winniesun #WinnieSun On average, I post twice a week. Predominantly on LinkedIn because that’s were my target audience is. I also post on Instagram and Facebook but predominantly LinkedIn, where I have built a strong network of 32 000+ connections. I fish where the fish are.
